North Mississippi Regional Park

Hidden behind the I-94 freeway wall, the park offers spectacular views of the Mississippi River and the surrounding woods and prairie. Visit the park’s Carl A. Kroenig Interpretive Center to learn more about the Mississippi River and its many roles it played as a source for jobs and drinking water. The park features walking paths, a picnic area, restrooms, a playground, a fishing pier, a boat launch, and a wading pool. The Paddle Share stations are located behind the Interpretive Center along the river.

This location hosts three return stations for the Coon Rapids Dam and River Park routes and two rental stations for the North Mississippi to Boom Island route. If you are arriving here from Coon Rapids Dam or River Park, please make sure that all kayaks and equipment are returned to the appropriately labeled locker.
